Senigallia and its castles

The itinerary
  • Welcome to Senigallia, the town is ready to welcome you in all its spirit and coolness. City centre has been thoroghly restored in recent times so it got back to its original radiance and made almost 100% traffic free.Getting around walking will be absolutely great. Once arrived at your accommodation you can start the exploration of the city and, if during the summer season maybe soak a bit on the beach. This town has an incredible range of restaurant suitable for all pockets: from Michelin starred restaurant to cheap street food. For sure a seafood meal is our suggestion.

  • Today we guide you to a full immersion in Senigallia’s history: its Fortress, the Baviera Palace hosting an amazing plaster ceiling decorations are just some of the highlights of the city you will see. Later in the afternoon we move to Morro D’Alba and after a free visit of this little village will be wine tasting time. The typical one is red and it’s called Lacrima.

  • We go a bit further on the hills around the city to see a couple of castles, both of them admirably preserved and part of the “Borghi più Belli d’Italia” league (The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy). First one will be Mondavio and its octagonal fortress. Afterwards Corinaldo, another great example of fortified town almost intact. We will take you out for lunch too around the area before going back to Senigallia

  • After checking out from your accommodation today is free to you: if you still have some time left could be the right moment for a last swim, or just some extra relax on the beach.
